Schools in Partnership(SIP) is a major funding initiative that is aimed at improving student outcomes through the implementation of Quality Teaching strategies and developing the levels of Community involvement in school planning and decision making.
An active committee meets regularly to plan activites and monitor progress toward stated goals.
Recent SIP initiatives include the formation of a home-school transition class, the development of a Community meeting place within the school, the establishment of a Quality Teaching AP position within the school and the implementation of a Quality Teaching Action Learning project aimed at the more effective use of Information CommunicationTechnologies across KLAs.
