This is a  collaborative project between Microsoft and DET schools which includes students from  DMPS, Yarrowitch PS, Rocky River PS and Niangala PS. There are  60 students from years 3-6 involved in the project. Students regularly interact with each other via Microsoft Sharepoint and conduct weekly online activities such as discussions, reporting, responding to surveys creating blogs and participating in shared stories via wikis. The Sharepoint site also allows opportunities for students to publish outstanding work and to share this work with a wider audience. Footage is also being gathered by way of a series of excursions for presentation in a virtual Television program. The students have followed up these excursions by writing using a variety of genre. The students have also created video reports and podcasts.
